Hello afternoon light! It was a long hot weekend, full of tons of hard work and not a lot of leisure. Today my kiddo started her senior year of high school and I’m a little bowled over by the reality of it all. I think about where I was at this same age and it was a very different place. I’m proud of my girl and looking forward to this whirlwind year that is going to put her on the path of her next stage of life (and mine!). Lots of thoughts and plans and conversations will be had from this exact vantage point as I sit behind my sewing machine and stitch and try to make it all happen.
