I’m back from my travels out west, my daughter is safe and sound and excited in her new adventure and I am back home in Pittsburgh, settling in. I carried my Backpack no.3 through redwood forests, the rocky cliffs of the western coast, the rolling hills of wine country and the orchards and gardens of the Navarro River valley (and airports and terminals and escalators and waiting at luggage carousels and parking lots and all of the boring parts of traveling, to which this bag is so so useful for). It was a fantastic few days and now I’m back and creating a new normal for myself. We had an amazing farm party on Tuesday night - a sincere welcome to Parker’s new life on the farm and one that made me feel so happy for where she has landed. Now I need to start having all of those cocktail parties I’d been talking about but, for now, I’m feeling a little more inward and will probably do some yoga and meet up with a few friends and reset a bit before all of that begins. Hope you’re off to a sunny Thursday! xoxo, Wendy
(p.s. this is my new living room❤️)
