Policies

Every Moop bag is handmade in our studio. We believe in well made goods, built from the ground up by people who love what they do. We are just a few people designing, sewing, modeling, packaging, shipping, hand manufacturing, etc. everything that comes out of our studio so, we typically have a turnaround time of 5-10 business days. If you need something sooner, let us know and we'll see what we can do.

All prices are in US dollars. 

SECONDS SALE ITEMS

All “SECONDS SALE” items, discontinued items or items that have had any kind of customization are Final Sale.

RETURNS

Returns are accepted within 7 days of item receipt. Items must be in unused brand new condition. We must receive the package back in our studio within 10 days of return request. (USPS, UPS and FedEx are all good shipping options). Shipping is non-refundable.

A few common sense guidelines to ensure you receive a full refund for returns or exchanges:

When re-packaging your bag, you may re-use the same paper and box the bag arrived to you in.  
It's best not to use an envelope (even a padded one) as it is likely to arrive back in our studio damaged in transit and will not be accepted for return or exchange.
 
Ship via a reliable shipping service such as USPS Priority Mail, UPS or FedEx, in a box (boxes are free at all USPS, UPS and FedEx locations).
 
Be sure to include a copy of your original order email in the package..or something with your name and what you would like us to do with your bag (ie: return or exchange).  Please include your name inside the box.  If you do not include your name, we won't know who the package came from and you won't receive your refund.  Seriously, if you include nothing else, pleeease let it be your name.
 
We will refund the order, minus shipping charges, once the item arrives and is deemed re-saleable. If an item is received and is not in re-saleable condition, the cost of the bag will not be refunded and will be returned at the customers expense.  
 
If a bag arrives back damaged due to careless packaging, it will not be accepted for return or exchange.  
If a bag arrives back and it clearly has been used, it will not be accepted for return or exchange.
If a bag arrives back and it is beyond the return/exchange policy window, and you did not arrange with us prior to sending back, it will be returned at the expense of the customer.
 
Just a few more return/exchange things to know:
If something is incorrect with the order, let us know asap and we’ll fix it.
Bags with any sort of customization are final sale.

Shipping is non-refundable.
On Sale and Seconds Sale items are final sale - not available for return or exchange.
If anything else goes awry let us know right away so we can make things right. We want you to be happy with your purchase.

EXCHANGES

Exchanges are accepted within seven days of item receipt (just as returns). Exchanges are held to the same standard as Returns, ie. bags must arrive in completely unused and re-saleable condition. If an item is received and is not in re-saleable condition, the cost of the bag will not be refunded and will be returned at the customers expense.
We will send an invoice if there is a difference in cost between the two bags (or refund, if needed).
The customer is responsible for shipping both ways.
Typical processing time for exchanges is 1-2 weeks from the time an exchanged item returns to our shop.

SHIPPING

We offer $15 flat rate shipping to the domestic United States via UPS Ground service.  Expedited shipping is available and can be added/ calculated upon checkout.  Please note, expedited shipping expedites only the shipping service, not our order turnaround.
 
Items shipped via UPS are automatically insured for the first $100. If you would like to add additional insurance or add insurance to your international order, please get in touch and we will send you an invoice for the added cost.
 
POBoxes, APOBoxes, Alaska, Hawaii and US Territories are shipped via USPS Priority Mail.
We do not refund for lost/unclaimed/undeliverable packages. 

CANADIAN SHIPPING

Orders to Canada are shipped via USPS International Priority Mail (with tracking and approx. 7-10 days in transit)
Canadian orders are subject to the receiving country's import fees, duty, taxes and/or brokerage fees. These funds are not paid to Moop nor are they set by Moop rather they are paid to and set by your home country's government as per import/export regulations and charged by your local postal carrier. Funds are due upon receipt in accordance with your local import and postal regulations.  Moop bags are all made, 100%, in the United States - this means they fall under the terms of NAFTA so you should not have customs fees due upon receipt of our goods. But, it's really up to the customs agents and their mood when our package goes through, we are not accountable if you incur customs fees.
We do not refund for lost packages but we will do our best to try and track it down for you.
We are not responsible for any duty/import/taxes/customs/etc charges you may incur.
We do not refund postage for lost, unclaimed or undeliverable packages. If a package is returned as undeliverable/unclaimed, it is the customers responsibility to follow up with the postal carrier.

SHIPPING WORLDWIDE

TAXES

Residents of the state of Pennsylvania will automatically be charged a 7% sales tax.
International customers are responsible for all import/customs/local tax fees that may be incurred upon receipt of your package.

GIFT CARDS

Coupons and discounts cannot be applied to Gift Card purchases.
Sales tax is not charged on Gift Card purchases.  
Gift Cards are non-refundable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
Moop is not responsible for lost or stolen Gift Card codes.
