adulthood

Hello Monday!
My teenage daughter is off being a farmer this summer and I feel like it has been a whirlwind of work/play/work/work/work since she left. I took another trip out to Portland, spent all of one day there (one of these days I’ll get to spend daaays there) and drove back to Pittsburgh with a few of our stitching machines. Because it is so hard for me to get vacations, we pretended that spending 46 hours driving was a vacation and made it scenic by driving through Glacier National Park (dreamland) and The Badlands (see that place above! it’s like Mars and awesome). We bought ourselves a cute 2 person
@Polerstuff tent (worth every penny) and camped most of the way. Aside from a near death experience at Deadman's Basin, we did alright. @snuggledouglas was my traveling man and we had a fantastic time. I arrived home to suuuuper long work days, followed by a spur of the moment campout this past weekend in gorgeous Ohiopyle with a buuunch of friends, then came home to my living room ceiling living on my floor. I guess in old houses ceilings just fall down?? That’s ok! I needed more to happen this week anyway, because I’ve got 12 hour work days planned, my much needed new session of boot camp starting at my gym and my birthday this week.
So, here’s to Mondays and acting like a grown up! It’s pretty rad. Glad I’ve got good people around me to make my days awesome.
Seriously, I have been so grateful for the people in my life..they've been making my days so so good. y’all are the best.
xoxo and hope you’re off to a fantastic week.
