Hello Thursday! it’s been a busy week with a few projects coming together for the winter months that I’m pretty excited about. It’s also been the rainiest week…I came home yesterday to a kitchen full of water because my back door always leaks…a lot!.. when it rains, and coincidentally there was also a burst pipe in my building so my water was shut off and I thought they were connected but, they were just separate water incidents that coincided. and I didn’t ride my bike as much this week because I don’t really have the gear for riding in the rain (I need to get set up for winter months on my bike…will take suggestions!!).
And, lastly, I keep being an annoying Mom and checking in with my daughter to make sure she is okay. She is in Northern California where the fires are destroying so so much. The farm she is on has not been affected and they are safe but, they can see the haze and the air quality is bad and my Mom anxieties kick in as I worry about her and the amazing people she works with and the livelihoods of hard-working people. Aside from all those anxieties, it’s been a great week!! lol. But, it’s warm and dry in the studio and I feel grateful every day that I get to spend my days here working with the very best humans as we make Moop bags day in and day out. Hope you’re off to all sorts of good things today.
